This course will focus on preparing students for college and career-readiness by enhancing their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, by using a wide range and level of reading texts. Students will be able to read, analyze and comprehend varied types of literature, including poems, and stories. Lessons will range from lecture and discussion to dramatic readings to student-chosen projects.
